Eiffel up close!, originally uploaded by InfoMiner.

I was recently in Paris by way of conference I had to attend in the South of France. This was my first ever foray into the city, I have transited via a Charles de Gaulle Airport a few times, but never ventured out. I am already making plans to return to this city. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive before my visit, what with my french restricted to Bonjour! Merci and S'il vous plait and smattering of other phrases. I had a great time despite the damp and often cold weather. There are more pictures to be found in my Flickr Photostream (click on the picture above to get to Flickr). Will be updating with further trip reports, including my firsthand experience at a boulangerie (Bakery) baking baguettes. Au Revoir!

I am an Informatics Specialist, involved in analysis and visualization of biological and clinical data. Photography is what I do in my spare time. I live in Cambridge, MA.

This blog is the medium to showcase one photo per post from what I shoot. I will try to do post one a day!
